Reflexology (1 Hour) £34.00

Reflexology is a complementary therapy which works on the feet or sometimes the hands too. During a treatment, reflex points within the feet or hands, are stimulated which are thought to correspond to organs and glands within the body.

Gentle and effective Precision Reflexology linking techniques will also be used within your treatment.
Reflexology may help to restore and maintain the body's natural equilibrium and is suitable for all ages.

There Is Some Suggestion That Reflexology May Help The Following:

  • Stimulate Relaxation

  • Support Mood Improvement

  • Reduce Tension

  • Aid Sleep Disorders

  • Improve a Sense Of Well Being

VRT (Vertical Reflex Therapy)

VRT can sometimes be incorporated into a conventional reflexology treatment either at the beginning or the end of a treatment.

As the name suggests, VRT is done in a standing (vertical) position, where the reflexes on the top of the feet are worked instead of the reflexes on the soles of the feet. When standing, we are bearing weight down onto the feet; this seems to create a faster and more direct link between the reflexes and parts of the body, thereby accelerating the response.

Lynne Booth pioneered the VRT technique. For more information please visit the Booth VRT website www.boothvrt.com.

Reflexologists do not claim to cure, diagnose or prescribe. Each session of reflexology works on an individual basis and reflexology should not be used as an alternative to seeking medical advice.

Thai Foot Massage (1 Hour) £34.00

Thai Foot Massage is a massage of the lower legs and feet that originated in Thailand about 2000 years ago.

Thai Foot Massage involves hands on stretching and massage, along with the use of a stick to stimulate the reflex points within the foot and lower leg. These reflex points are thought to correspond to organs and glands within the body, very similar to reflexology.

Thai foot massage is a deeply relaxing treatment and is considered to help the body to rebalance, encouraging health and well-being.

There is some suggestion that Thai Foot Massage may offer similar benefits to Reflexology.

Please Note: A Consultation is required prior to each of the above treatments.
